COEL PERRY
Registered Massage Therapy
A bit about Coel…
Born and raised in Mackenzie BC with an early interest in the movement of the body. Coel is passionate about assisting you on your journey to feeling better.
I see Massage Therapy as a tool to aid in physical comfort, relief of stress, and to help your body alongside physical movement for injury rehabilitation.
Coel enjoyed much of her early years teaching kids of all ages how to snowboard, and became a back-country enthusiast herself in both the summer and winter months.
Coel moved to Calgary AB to pursue her Massage Therapy Education, attending a 2200 hour program with the esteemed vocational school MH Vicars. Graduating in 2018, she was able to work alongside Sport Therapists, Chiropractors and Acupuncturists.
Knowing full well that she would need to be back in the mountains again, Coel went through rigorous examinations to become a Registered Massage Therapist in BC and began working at a busy Kootenay cat skiing lodge, working with the athletes and staff members to work through their aching muscles and assisting in injury recovery and prevention.
In 2020 Coel opened up a private practice in Nelson BC and very much enjoyed working with the community there. These days you will be able to find her in beautiful Creston BC, working with the locals.
In Creston Coel is dedicated to promoting healthy activities that include Mountain Biking in the area, holding weekly and group supported Ladies nights. As well as therapeutic movement with Nia dance at Embodied Movement studio.
I encourage you to come along for your movement journey!

Coel is one of the best RMTs my husband and I have seen. Professional, friendly and intuitive she seems to know exactly what needs working on. Whether it's a deep tissue sports massage, relief of acute pain/stiffness, or a deeply relaxing cranial sacral therapy which puts me to sleep. My teen daughters have both been in to see her for various issues, and absolutely love feeling "like a puddle" when they walk out. This is one of those reviews that I'd rather not leave, for fear she books up! ;-) Coel is a gem, highly recommend!

"Warm, friendly, professional. I trust her expertise and her intuition. She finds spots that need attention that I’m not even aware of. She can be strong and gentle and moves with grace. I come away feeling relaxed and connected in my body. Extra thanks for the work on my jaw and trigeminal nerve."

"I have been a lucky client of Coel’s for over 3 years. Coel has a way of being and soothing charm that immediately puts you in a comfortable and calm state upon entering her massage suite. As a person living with chronic pain, I cannot express how much I not only appreciate the consistency of her massages alongside her strong and magically gifted hands, but also the intent listening skills she has; I feel seen and heard. Coel uses a variety of techniques to apply her therapeutic and relaxing touch that is in accordance with your need as the client. Seeing Coel is a highlight in my week, every week!"

Coel was able to fit me in with about a week's notice, and did a most excellent job of helping relieve some of the tension and stress in my neck/shoulders - as well as working on my recently rehabilitated broken wrist that had been stiffening up with the colder weather. The treatment room itself was very calming with plenty of natural light and some beautiful greenery/house plants. I look forward to returning for another session soon!
